Ida Martin is eleven years old and is about to start secondary school. She enjoys art, reading, history, ice skating, playing monopoly and looking after her Cavachon puppy. She’s not so keen on homework and peaches.
Ida has been kind enough to let her struggle with dyslexia be documented to help her dad complete his MA Photography course but more importantly to help other people with this learning difference see that it shouldn’t hold you back.
After graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design Stephen has spent the last 20 years working in the advertising industry as both an Art Director and Creative Director for highly recognised clients, at world-class agencies creating campaigns for Smirnoff Ice, Baileys, Boots, RAF and GSK.
His passion for true creativity has led to success with his work being recognised at some of the industry’s most esteemed awards, including Cannes Lion, Clio, IPA, LIA, The One Show and winning a Global Award for best Art Direction.
After years overseeing shoots, he has decided it is time for him to get behind the lens so is currently undertaking a part-time MA Photography course through Falmouth University.
